My Rite Aid Trip This Week: Too Much Time in the Makeup Isle

Continuing with my weekly review.  Lets see what I did at Rite Aid.

Giving you the Best Deals at Rite Aid!

I ended up with 2 trips to Rite Aid today.  At the first trip, one of the prices was higher than I expected and it was a complicated deal, so I decided to forego it.  Only after checkout, I ended up with $4.00 left over in +UP Rewards, that expired today, and I couldn't let that happen.  So I made a trip to a nearby Rite Aid that had the My Town Teddy Bear I mention in prior posts.  So if that one didn't have a deal I wanted to do, it would at least give me the opportunity to roll the +UPs.  Only once there, I double checked the deal I was attempting to do and took the time to figure out how to make it work.

There were two deals I didn't do that I mentioned yesterday that I planned on:

e.p.t. Complete Home Fertility Kit - I couldn't find one that matched the coupon I had.

Chex Mix Popped Sweet & Salty/White Cheddar - One store had Sweet & Salty, but neither had White Cheddar to make the deal work.

Anyway, onto the trips:

Trip 2:

So, after looking at the bears and not finding the ept kit to roll the bucks with, I decided to give the Covergirl deal I mentioned yesterday a second attempt.  The problem was the Lashblast was $8.99 instead of the $7.49 mentioned and I didn't have four $3.00/1 - CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara (PG 7/6, Expires 7/31/14), I only had two, so I subbed two of those with an extra $3.00/2 - CoverGirl Products (PG 7/27, Expires 8/31/14).  I ran the numbers so many times on the calculator on my phone to make sure I had it right, because math errors have definitely cost me before.  It was easy to find the products and go under the $30.00 for the +UP and the gas card, but there I was, a guy standing in the makeup isle, phone in hand, trying to get as close to $30.00 as possible without going too far over but still cross that $30.00 threshold and still have enough products to use all the coupons.  Only once did someone come over and ask if they could help me find something though. ;)
