Thinking Outside the Box For Good Meat Deals

I posted about a Target meat coupon last week.



It ended up being better than I thought at $5/$20 instead of $5/$25.

That said, remember to think outside the box with this coupon.  At least here in the Triangle, both Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter will accept this coupon.

Personally, I plan on using mine at Lowes Foods.  They have got Boneless Chicken Breasts for $1.95/lb.  So if I end up with 11lbs, since it will be hard to hit *exactly* $20.00 in meat, that would take them down to $1.50/lb.

Granted, that's my plan if I can get my hands on one, there was an unfortunate recycling incident with all five Target ads this week and the recycling was picked up yesterday...
