Kmart is Throwing Money at Me

Holy Cow, I couldn't believe it when I got this e-mail.

If you have been helped by what I'm posting, click through here and make me your "personal shopper." It's more like "personal deal finder" as I don't actually shop for you. But it will help support some of the things I'm trying to do with the blog.

Frequently used abbreviations, usually I will follow these with a date, so people know which week of the paper they were in:

SS – Smart Source (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
P&G – Proctor & Gamble  (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
RP – Red Plum (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
SYR - Shop Your Way Rewards (A rewards program for Sears/Kmart.)

First if all if you are not a Shop Your Way Rewards member, go sign up.

Secondly, once you are a member, click through here and make me your "personal shopper." It's more like "personal deal finder" as I don't actually shop for you.

If you are a member, check your email for an email entitled "Get FREE Points back. Open now to grow your total."

If you don't have it, or you just signed up, go to this page and look for a coupon entitled "Points Match Back"

I would suggest printing it rather than loading it to your card, so you can control when it goes off.

Finish cycling through your coupons for this deal.

Once you are done, you should have a $5.00 coupon and quite a few points depending on how many times you were able to do it.

Spend them all in one transaction and use the "Points Match Back" coupon.

So this is my scenario:

So for me, I grabbed 5 copies of the paper this morning to do this deal, which means if you do this like me at the end of the week my haul will look like this:

15x Downy Fabric Softener, 64oz
1x $5.00 Catalina valid for apparel, grocery, beauty or healthcare purchase.
$20.72 in SYW Rewards Points

Cash Paid: $6.07

Net Price for 5 days: $19.65 Moneymaker for 15 bottles of Fabric Softener!

At this point, I will have over $20 in points, plus any pre-existing points *and* a $5.00 coupon.

Which means, if I can go into Kmart and get almost $26.00 worth of stuff for absolutely free, as I will get all of my points back.

So this new coupon changes this deal for me from a $19.65 Moneymaker into over a $40.00 MONEYMAKER!

If you see any freebies or Moneymakers I missed let me know!
