If you have been helped by what I'm posting, click through here and make me your "personal shopper." It's more like "personal deal finder" as I don't actually shop for you. But it will help support some of the things I'm trying to do with the blog.
Frequently used abbreviations, usually I will follow these with a date, so people know which week of the paper they were in:
SS – Smart Source (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
P&G – Proctor & Gamble (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
RP – Red Plum (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
SYW - Shop Your Way Rewards (A rewards program for Sears/Kmart.)
Here's the deals:
And just a reminder, the following Facebook offers are still going on:
Get $10.00 in points when you spend $10.00
Get $10.00 in points when you spend $20.00
Get $10.00 in points when you spend $30.00
None of my stores has a match that works for this, but this seems to be one of those deals that varies from store to store, you may find a way to get it to work for you.
Select Colors Just for Men Touch of Gray on sale for $2.44 (Valid through 9/29)
Use $4.00/1 – Just for Men Haircolor: Touch of Gray or Mustache & Beard printable coupon
Net Price: Free
Glade PlugIns Warmer, 1 ct on sale for $1.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Use $2.00/2 – Glade Products printable coupon
Or use $1.00/1 - Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Warmer printable coupon
Net Price: Free
(Just remember, if you start your shopping trip with TopCashBack and select to pay in store when you checkout, you can use coupons and get the rebate from TopCashBack, along with points, so any freebie at Kmart is technically a moneymaker.)
While that Glade offer is a good start, I came up with a better one. That said since this is month long, you may want to wait and see if there are some Checkout51 or other app rebates to pop up later this week. Be sure to grab the SavingStar rebate *now* before it disappears. (All of this week's Glade Checkout51 offers are already used up.)
Glade PlugIns Warmer, 1 ct on sale for $1.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Glade Aerosol Air Fresheners, 8-9oz on sale for $1.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Glade Plug-In Scented Oil Refills, 2ct on sale for $5.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Glade Automatic Refills, on sale for $5.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Spend $20.00 in Glade Products, get $5.00 Off Next Purchase Catalina
The name of the game at this point is to hit $20.00 without going over. So pick whatever you like as long as it's Glade to get you to $20.00.
Or use Get $20.00 in points when you spend $20.00 Facebook Coupon (If you still have it, no longer available.)
Use - $5.00/$20.00 - Glade Products SavingStar Rebate.
Pay $20.00, get $10.00 in points, $5.00 catalina and $5.00 in rebates.
Net Price: Free (Or $10.00 Moneymaker if you have the $20.00 points coupon.)
There are other items in this deal, but this is the easiest way to hit $10.00 exactly. Change it up if there are other items you prefer. But remember for you to come out with a freebie/moneymaker, you need to hit $10.00 after coupons, but less than $13.00 total.
Suavitel Fabric Conditioner, 50 - 56oz on sale for 2/$5.00 (Valid through 9/29)
Get $3.00 back in points when you spend $10.00 in participating Colgate-Palmolive Products
Pay $10.00, get $13.00 in points
Net Price: $3.00 Moneymaker when you buy 4
Let me preface this last deal, since there are no clear rules posted on how Shop Your Way points and coupons interact with manufacturer coupons, I have decided to slowly start testing how they interact on my own. (I decided this when I saw some transactions happen that made zero sense to me.) It is hard to figure out the best deals if you don't know the rules. I actually will start a post soon on the ins and outs of Kmart, sharing what I find out, but I figure I would go ahead and get this deal out the door first. I would suggest you do things in the exact order I did to make sure everything interacts properly as I don't know what will occur if you change up the order. I also do not know how paying with points might affect this deal, so I would advise against it.
Clear Haircare products, 12.7 - 12.9 oz on sale 2/$10
- Give your cashier your Shop Your Way information. (Card, Phone#, Etc.)
- Have your cashier ring up your items, including your two Clear Haircare products. Your total should now be $10.00 or more.
- Next have your cashier scan your Get $10.00 in points when you spend $10.00 Facebook Coupon
- Lastly use two $2.50/1 - Clear Hair printable coupon [3.3-oz.+]
Net Price: $8.10 Moneymaker.
I hate to add more caveats to this deal, but I don't want anyone to be surprised. At this store the $2.50/1 Clear Hair printable coupon [3.3-oz.+] did not scan properly. (AlthoughI know from experience that a coupon that doesn't scan at one store may scan at another.) In case your store is more strict about it, I would bring two of the following for backup:
$1.50/1 - Clear Scalp & Hair Product coupon (RP 08/24, Expires 9/21/14) [ETS]
$1.50/1 Clear Scalp & Hair Products printable coupon
