We've got a bunch of strategy games going on here.  I definitely recommend the Sid Meier's games.  (Although Covert action may be a little dated for some folks.  I remember playing it on floppies.)  They mention Retroism and Enlight, but I remember most of these as Microprose games.  Another one that I've heard some good things about is Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender, if you're a fan of old school adventure games.
