SS – Smart Source (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
P&G – Proctor & Gamble (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
RP – Red Plum (An insert in many Sunday Papers)
SYW - Shop Your Way Rewards (A rewards program for Sears/Kmart.)
Reminder: During Super Doubles Kmart will double up to 5 coupons with a face value of $2.00 or less per day. There is a minimum purchase requirement of $25.00 but that is before any coupons are applied.
So I started my trip with a plan in mind, but it ended up much better than I expected. First let me tell you about the amazing deals I got tonight:
So as I poked around the store looking for deals I ended up in the electronics section and discovered, Skylanders Swap Force starter kit, selling for $59.99 with a whopping $50.00 back in points. It got even better when I price checked it to make sure it was right, it rang up at $54.99. So I grabbed it and hit my SYW app to see what other deals were available and grabbed at $10.00 in points when you spend $50.00, along with a $5.00 off when you spend $50.00 and hopped both would stack. The base deal however looks like this.

Get $0.30/gallon off on one fillup at BP for spending $50.00. (I value this at around $3.00 given I usually fill up a little over 10 gallons.)
Paid $53.35, got $50.62 in points, $5.00 Gift Card, $5.00 CRT and $3.00 worth of gas.
Grand Total: $10.27 Moneymaker on $84.94 worth of product! (112.09% Savings)

So here is why my doubles were weird, my cashier's hand scanner was out of commission, so she had to manually enter the coupons. She ended up manually doubling them. By doing so, the Axe and the Starbucks coupons went in excess of the product price, but did not double, thus giving me overage on those products. The Sparkle coupons were entered manually doubled at $2.00, since there wasn't overage, the system automatically doubled them to $4.00. All told though these errors only added $4.62 to my savings. I pointed this out to her, but she seemed content to let it be. Honestly, I could have done better had I only loaded the $10.00 back in points when you spend $50.00 rather than that and the $5.00/$50.00 Shop Your Way Coupon, the system actually gave me the lower valued coupon. I guess that's what I get for trying to double dip. ;)
